Mr. Danny L. Lee

Danny joined Blue Pool Capital in 2015, a family office investment vehicle for Jack Ma

and Joe Tsai, the founders of Alibaba Group. He oversees all direct investment

related activities on a global basis.

Prior to Blue Pool, Danny spent 9 years with Bain Capital Asia. He was a managing

director focusing on Greater China investments, responsible for sourcing and leading

the execution of transactions, covering consumer retail and healthcare sectors in

China. Previously, Mr. Lee was with the Asian private equity arm of Sweden’s Investor

AB, one of the largest industrial holding companies in the Nordic region. He executed

investments in the Asia Pacific region in both growth capital and controlled

investments with a focus on Greater China. Prior to that, he was with Lehman

Brothers Investment Banking in New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Lee has a BA in

economics from Columbia College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
