Ming Shao is the Director of Fixed Income Investments at DuPont Capital Management. Ming Shao leads Fixed Income investments across Lehman Core and Core Plus products. Mr. Shao is also responsible for managing the DuPont High Yield portfolios and investments in distressed securities. He joined DCM as the Portfolio Manager of mortgage backed securities in March 1992, successfully implemented the investment strategies in the distressed emerging markets in 1998 and broadened the overall DCM exposure in High Yield and US Distressed securities beginning in 2002.
Prior to joining DCM, Mr. Shao was Portfolio Manager of Mortgages at Carillon Advisors and a Research Analyst at Union Central Life Insurance Company. He joined the financial services industry in 1987.
Mr. Shao is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and a member of the CFA Institute. Mr. Shao holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan; an MS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Rhode Island; and an MS in Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences from Northwestern University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
