Michele Sparrow

Ms. Sparrow has more than 25 years of senior leadership and finance experience in the technology, government contract and education industries. As USRA's Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Sparrow is responsible for managing the organization's finance and accounting operations not only at headquarters, but also at its sites across the United States. Ms. Sparrow joined USRA in 2013 and brings a rich background of non-profit, for-profit, international and government accounting experience to USRA.

Ms. Sparrow came to USRA from The Hill Center where she was the EVP/CFO helping this non-profit organization reach out nationally and internationally to prepare educators and administrators through institutes and professional development. Prior to that, Ms. Sparrow was the SVP/CFO of a for-profit environmental engineering corporation that conducted air emissions testing and research in air quality sciences for the Environmental Protection Agency. This for-profit company conducted air emissions testing nationally and internationally for commercial clients that included numerous fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Sparrow has Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Business Management and Accounting from North Carolina State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant with licenses in both North Carolina and Maryland. She is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant registered with the AICPA.
