Mr. Rabinowitz's distinguished career in the securities industry spans nearly three decades. Under his leadership as Chairman and CEO, Maxim Group has grown into one of the leading mid-tier investment banking, securities and investment management firms. Mr. Rabinowtiz brings deep experience managing and growing businesses as well as providing investment banking and capital markets advice to a broad range of public and private companies. Prior to forming Maxim Group, Mr. Rabinowitz served as Executive Vice President of Investec Ernst & Company, an international specialist bank headquartered in South Africa and the U.K. As a member of the executive management team, Mr. Rabinowitz was responsible for the overall growth and supervision of the Institutional Sales & Trading, Capital Markets and Wealth Management divisions. Over his four-year tenure at the firm, Mr. Rabinowitz orchestrated a series of acquisitions in the capital markets, retail brokerage and securities clearing spaces, which tripled the group's presence in the U.S. Prior to Investec Ernst & Company, Mr. Rabinowitz served as CFO and later as President and CEO of Stuart Coleman & Company, a NYSE member firm which he successfully sold to Investec Ernst & Company in 1999. Previous to Stuart Coleman & Company, Mr. Rabinowitz served as controller for several mid-sized NYSE firms. Mr. Rabinowitz received a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
