Michael Chang

Michael Chang, M.B.A., is a Partner of Vivo Capital who invests in private and public biopharmaceutical and medical device companies. He joined Vivo with a background in healthcare strategy and operations from his prior experiences of working at Johnson & Johnson in the strategy and commercial planning function, and as a strategy consultant for both Booz & Company and Fletcher Spaght. Mr. Chang is a co-founder of a vascular access company. Mr. Chang received his B.A. in Economics, with a focus on health policy from Harvard University, and earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He conducted extensive research on brain tumors at Harvard Medical School and on cancer genetics at the University of California, Irvine.
