Mary Seaberg King

Ms. King joined Invest Detroit in 2009 with over 20 years of commercial banking and underwriting experience. She manages Invest Detroit's Urban Retail Loan Fund, designed to provide lending support to small and mid-sized retail businesses in targeted areas of Greater Downtown Detroit, and the nonprofit predevelopment and land acquisition funding programs. She also manages Invest Detroit's New Markets Tax Credits Program. Most recently, Ms. King served as Vice President of Commercial Lending at Detroit Commerce Bank. Additional experience includes the Nonprofit Finance Fund where she worked as a Senior Associate, and National Bank of Detroit, now known as JPMorgan Chase, where she began her lending career and held various positions in the areas of Middle Market, Large Corporate, and Commercial Loan Operations.
