Martin Korbmacher

Martin Korbmacher used to be Managing Director of Credit Suisse based in Frankfurt. He was responsible for managing Credit Suisse Investment Banking businesses in Germany and Austria. Mr Korbmacher joined Credit Suisse in January 2005 from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was the Deputy Head of Capital Markets and a member of the Executive Committee of DrKW. Previously, he was responsible for the Global Equities business from 2000 through to 2002, and prior to this he ran the Fixed Income Trading business globally between 1997 and 1999. Martin is the founder and Managing Partner of Event Horizon Capital & Advisory GmbH and has invested in more than 20 start up companies in the last 15 years. He has held a number of advisory and supervisory board positions during these processes. Prior to that, Mr Korbmacher worked at JPMorgan for six years in various Fixed Income trading functions. Mr Korbmacher received a degree in Mathematics from the University of Bielefeld.
