Marleen Vogelaar

Marleen Vogelaar is the Founder and CEO of Ziel. She was also the Co-Founder & CFO/COO of Shapeways. Prior to Shapeways, Marleen was at the boutique consulting firm IMCG Solving, in M&A and strategy, where she worked with clients on due diligence, post-merger integration, operational improvement, and privatizations. Earlier in her career, Marleen was in operations and quality management at a paper manufacturing plant at SCA Hygiene Products. She started her career at SCA as a local demand manager, focusing on using logistics and value-added services as a competitive advantage in a highly commoditized market. Marleen holds a M.S. in industrial engineering and management science from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Marleen is a former heptathlete and spends her spare time in the outdoors as much as possible.
