Laura Mendoza is Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Unima, a company that develops technology for epidemiological surveillance and rapid and low-cost diagnostic devices on paper to provide access to people living in low-income conditions to the timely diagnosis of a disease. Tapatía, born in 1977, started in chemical engineering and biotechnology, and finished marketing. In this talk Laura is going to tell us the story of Unima through the development of her product, that is, how she started this product, how it has evolved and how it is today. Taking advantage of Laura's experience, she will also talk about the market and the opportunities for other companies in the global health market given the current conditions.
