Maria João Almeida

Maria João has 19 years of experience in the Venture Capital and Private Equity Industry. She has vast experience in investment analysis, company evaluation and financial modelling as well as the management and monitoring of the portfolio of affiliated companies. She has conducted several full-life cycle investments, from feasibility analysis to structuring investment and managing the investment portfolio company until final divestment. Before becoming part of the Venture Capital and Private Equity industry she spent 2 years at KPMG in both the financial audit and tax departments. Maria João is currently part of Portugal Ventures' Private Equity business unit.
