Dr. Marcel Reichart is the Executive Vice President Digital Development and Partnerships for Bertelsmann Corporate, Europe's largest media group (revenues of 23bn US) and is reporting to the CEO. Until 2012, he was a corporate and digital executive at Hubert Burda Media, including Managing Director of DLD Media of DLD Ventures, Managing Director of Research & Development, Marketing & Communications and Chief of Staff Dr. Hubert Burda. He is Co-Founder of the DLD Conference and was a Board Member of Glam Media and Seed Media. Prior to that, he was a founding executive of Venturepark, a European corporate-led early stage- investment group. During his doctorate, he served as advisor to the former German Minister of Economics Dr. Otto Graf Lambsdorff whom he supported in his corporate board and public responsibilities. Dr. Reichart graduated from WHU Otto-Beisheim School for Corporate Management with studies in the US, France and Italy. He was a scholar of the German National Merit Foundation and a Young Leader of the Atlantik-Brücke fostering transatlantic relations, as well as named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2005.
