Lee Rauch joined Global Blood Therapeutics as chief business officer in 2013. Lee Rauch has more than 20 years of senior management experience at life science companies, including c-level leadership and a successful track record of driving M&A and strategic partnerships. Lee Rauch has served in various business advisory and interim executive roles, including at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Prosatient Healthcare, Oncothyreon and Kosan. Previously, Lee Rauch was president and chief executive officer of Nuon Therapeutics, chief business officer at POINT Biomedical Inc. and chief business officer at Onyx Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, she was senior vice president, corporate development at COR Therapeutics, where she led M&A activities that resulted in the $2 billion acquisition by Millennium. Before COR, she served as partner at the Mitchell Madison Group and president at Healthcare Strategies, and held senior-level roles at Syntex Corporation, including as vice president, strategic marketing. Lee Rauch began her career at McKinsey & Company. Lee Rauch is a founding member of HealthTech Capital. Lee Rauch earned a B.A. in chemistry at Arizona State University and M.B.A. in finance at the University of Chicago.
