Mr. Lawrence G. Mohr, Jr. serves as a Co-founder and Managing Director at Retro Venture Partners. He has been in the venture capital business since 1974. Mr. Mohr founded Mohr, Davidow Ventures in 1983 after working in the venture groups of both Hambrecht & Quist, where he was a Partner, and the Bank of America. He was a Founding Partner of Mohr, Davidow Ventures III, L.P, Mohr, Davidow Ventures II, L.P, Mohr, Davidow Ventures VIII, L.P, and Mohr, Davidow Ventures VII, L.P. Mr. Mohr serves as Chairman of the Board of RivalWatch, Inc and also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Seecontrol Inc. His community activities include serving on the Board of Directors of the Sutter-affiliated Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Mr. Mohr also serves as the President and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Stanford Athletic Department’s investment fund (DAPER). He served as a Director of Sutter Health Corp. and Neurobiological Technologies Inc. Mr. Mohr also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Mohr, Davidow Ventures. He taught Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital at the Stanford Graduate School of Business for three years and served on numerous public and private for profit corporations and several non profit organizations. Mr. Mohr holds an M.B.A. and a Master's Degree in Engineering from Stanford University and is a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University.
