Kenta Kon

Kenta Kon was born on August 2, 1968. He graduated from Tohoku University with a bachelor's degree in economics in March 1991, and joined Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in April of the same year.

In January 2017, Mr. Kon was appointed general manager of Accounting Division. In June 2018, he was promoted to managing officer and became deputy chief officer, General Administration & Human Resources Group as well as deputy chief officer of Accounting Group.

In January 2019, he was made executive vice president of Advanced R&D and Engineering Company. In July 2019, he was promoted to operating officer and became chief officer of Accounting Group.

In January 2020, he was made fellow of Advanced R&D and Engineering. In April 2020, he was made chief financial officer of TMC.
