**Kayoum Djedidi** Kayoum Djedidi is a final-year Microelectronics and Embedded Systems Engineering student at the Higher Institute of Informatics and Mathematics of Monastir (ISIMM), Tunisia. With over three years of experience in the field, Kayoum has developed a strong foundation in FPGA-based real-time hardware accelerators, focusing on applications in power electronics, robotics, and artificial intelligence. In his professional endeavors, Kayoum is the CEO and co-founder of Open Organic Robotics (OORB), where he leads a team in developing innovative solutions in robotics and AI. His leadership has guided OORB to significant achievements, including winning prestigious awards at the Arab IoT & AI Challenge 2023 and the Africa IoT & AI Challenge 2024. Additionally, Kayoum serves as an Edge MLOps Engineer at Ubotica Technologies, where he contributes to developing machine learning pipelines for edge devices, particularly in space applications. Kayoum's technical expertise spans various domains, including robotics, embedded software development, hardware design, system design, and PCB design. He is proficient in multiple architectures and platforms such as FPGA, AVR, ARM, RISC-V, and has a strong command of programming languages like C++, VHDL, and Python. His adaptability and eagerness to embrace new technologies have been key to his success in these roles. In addition to his technical skills, Kayoum is deeply committed to education and mentoring. He has served as an instructor at GoMyCode, where he developed and taught courses in embedded systems and Python, inspiring students to excel in these fields. His passion for community engagement is evident through his active involvement with IEEE, where he has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as the Vice-Chair of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Tunisia Section and as a member of the IEEE IES New Initiatives Committee. Kayoum's contributions have been recognized through several awards, including the IEEE Tunisia Section Rising Star Award and the IEEE Education Society Tunisia Outstanding Achievement Award. His dedication to advancing technology and fostering community engagement continues to drive his pursuit of excellence in the field of microelectronics and embedded systems. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Kayoum enjoys playing the electric guitar, creating digital art, and engaging in sports like volleyball.
