About
Karen has been a member of the Company's Board since its IPO in 2018 and chair of the audit committee since listing. Separate to Augmentum Karen has 15 years’ audit committee experience of which 11 years have been as audit chair. She has extensive experience in project finance, private equity and asset management, and has been an adviser to hedge funds, family offices and private equity houses for many years.
Karen started her career at Citibank, where she worked on various multi-national project finance transactions; this was followed by CDC (now known as BII) the UK Government’s development finance institution, where she held a variety of positions in equity and debt investing, portfolio management, fund raising and investor development. Karen currently serves as an external panel member of the Albion Capital VCT investment committee.
Past non-executive appointments include chair of Keystone Positive Change Plc and abrdn Japan Investment Trust Plc and non-executive director and chair of audit of HeiQ Ltd and Crown Place VCT.
