Jose Tiago Silva

José Tiago Silva is a Partner in the Tourism Business Area. He joined Explorer Investments in 2012, forming part of the team which founded Discovery where he has worked since then and is responsible for acquisitions. Within this area he led the valuation process, due diligence and acquisition of around 15 operations worth over 250M€. From 2005 to 2012 he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., having developed and led several strategy, corporate finance and operational change projects in Portugal, Africa and Latin America; essentially in the energy, infrastructure and financial sectors. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School (2009) and a degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia do Porto (2005).
