Jon joined Norwest in 2009, and brings more than 25 years of investment experience to his role as Managing Partner and Co-head of the Growth Equity team. Jon is one of two managing partners responsible for the firm, which has $15.5 billion in capital under management. Jon is focused on investing across a wide range of sectors, with a particular interest in information services, software, internet, and consumer companies.
Prior to joining Norwest, Jon was a Director at Goldman Sachs, where he headed the San Francisco office for the firm’s Americas Special Situations Group. Before Goldman Sachs, Jon spent 10 years at TA Associates in Menlo Park, a private equity firm with $47.5+ billion in capital under management. Earlier in his career, Jon worked at the global advertising agency Leo Burnett USA, where he managed strategy and campaign management for several Fortune 500 companies.
Jon obtained his bachelor of arts degree in biology from Harvard College, where he was a member of the varsity swim team. Jon also serves on the board of the USA Swimming Foundation.
