João Pessanha

João Pessanha works at Explorer Investments since 2014, as part of the Private Equity team since June 2017, where he accompanies the portfolio companies and analyzes and executes investments and divestments. Previously, he was in the area of Expansion Capital where he was responsible for the analysis and execution of investments for the Revitalizar Norte Fund. He began his professional career in 2012 at PwC, in the Corporate Finance department, more specifically in the M&A team. He participated in several buy-side and sell-side mandates, with a particular emphasis on advising Private Equity Funds. At the same time, he also collaborated in projects of Valuation and Restructuring. He has a Master in Finance from Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics (2012) a degree in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics and from Insper - Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa em São Paulo (2010).
