Joao Pedro Martins

João Pedro Martins joined Explorer Investments at the beginning of 2016, where he is responsible for the financial and operational monitoring of Discovery Portugal Fund's various tourist assets under management. Previously he worked in Banco de Portugal, where he led the unit for the Planning and Organization of Prudential Supervision. He was also a consultant in BCG between 2011 and 2013, and before that in Deloitte. He has worked in Portugal, Spain and Africa on projects in banking, private equity, insurance and the public sector. He has an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (2010) and a degree in management from Universidade Católica de Lisboa (2004).
