Jean-Claude Dorsainvil is an Associate at XYZ Venture Capital. JeanClaude joined XYZ as an analyst in August 2020. He spent a year and a half as an Investment Partner at First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund where he led pre-seed deals. Previously, he was at JP Morgan’s Investment Banking group, Citigroup’s Latin America Corporate & Investment Banking team, and an Investment Intern with Base Ventures. He also co-leads communications and spearheads the Breaking into Venture initiative at Blck VC. Off the clock, he loves to play soccer, go on long-board adventures, and cruise backroads on his motorcycle. He graduated from UC Berkeley in December 2019 with a B.A. in Political Economy and a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Technology.
