Janine Yorio

Janine has built a career out of turning edgy real estate ideas into financially viable companies. Before founding Compound, she worked with startups in the hospitality space, including Roam Coliving and Ollie Coliving. Prior to that, she was head of real estate development for Andre Balazs’ Standard Hotels. She began her career at private equity firm NorthStar Capital (the financial sponsor behind Morgans Hotel Group) where she spent 8 years covering the hospitality sector. Over her career, she has managed over $1 billion in real estate developments from origination to exit/IPO.
