Ivana Visnjic

For Ivana Visnjic singing has always been one of the most important things in her life. Ever since she was eight years old, she began singing on children’s festivals, winning over the hearts of the crowd. After finishing high school she was determined to continue studying music, but her parents didn’t support her. Still she was able to graduate with a bachelor in vocal studies, financing herself by singing back vocals for other singers. After years of waiting and always being in the back, in 1995 Ivana Visnjic finally got her big break and was offered to record her own single. Her first song brought her instant success. That same year she had her first appearance on television, and she released her debut album. Since her early beginnings, Visnjic has changed her style, and as she says, she has grown together with her music. Now here music is more refined, polished, but still has that simplicity and truth to itself, that drew fans in the first place.
