Hugo de Bruin

Hugo de Bruin joined Gilde in 2011. Prior to joining Gilde he was a M&A advisor in Healthcare at Boer & Croon for five years. Hugo originated and executed transactions in the Dutch healthcare sector and was also involved in recovery advisory for numerous healthcare institutions. He gained deep knowledge of both the regulation in the Dutch healthcare sector as well as the market dynamics. His track record includes setting up an acquisition strategy, managing divestments and acquisitions, restructuring a financial division, debt advisory, valuations and strategic consulting. He advised private equity investors, listed firms, private companies, semipublic organizations and public institutions, the majority of them active in the healthcare sector. He has a MA in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University and a MSc in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam and is a Dutch national.
