Helena Maio

Helena has 22 years of experience in the financial area. Aside from her academic experience as a Lecturer at the Superior Bank Management Institute, Helena has held various positions in the financial sector, including Director of Investments and Senior Economist at Portugal Ventures, executive member of the Board of Directors and CFO of ADI - Portuguese Public Innovation Agency, and Head of Corporate Finance at a Portuguese Investment Bank. She has been a member of the Board of Credit Agrícola’s Deposit Guarantee Fund, a member of the Audit Committee of a Portuguese Public Bank, and has sat on the Board of four of Portgual Ventures' Portfolio Companies, among others. Helena is currently Adviser to the Board of Directors at Portugal Ventures.
