Gunnar Fremuth

Mr. Fremuth is a Managing Director and CFO who joined PEI in 1996. Mr. Fremuth started as an Analyst during the end of the investment period of PEI Fund I and the beginning of the PEI Fund II investment period. He became a Principal in 2000 and a Managing Director in 2002. Mr. Fremuth has been involved in the analysis of all investments made by the firm since 1996 and a member of the Investment Committee since 2000.

Currently, Mr. Fremuth sits on the Advisory Boards of WFD Ventures, SightLine Partners, and Huntington Capital Partners.

He is also a Board Member of NanoLumens and a Board observer of Ormet Circuits, WineDirect and Nuclea Biotechnologies, all PEI portfolio companies.

Before joining PEI, Mr. Fremuth was an investment banker with the boutique firm LT Private Placements, which specialized in raising early-stage capital for medical device and technology companies from venture capital funds.

Prior to that, he served as Director of Operations and Controller of a publishing company.

Mr. Fremuth received his B.S. in accounting and finance from the New York University Stern School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
