Gregg Westgate

Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, joined First Reserve in 2004. Mr. Westgate’s responsibilities include managing the firm’s information technology infrastructure, including global interoffice communications (email, video and telecom), data security, and infrastructure deployment and support. Prior to joining First Reserve, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Alpha Natural Resources, a coal company based in Virginia and a former First Reserve portfolio company. Prior to that, he was a Director of Integration for NST, a technology consulting firm, where he focused on consulting to the private equity industry.
