Greg Anderson

Greg Anderson has more than two decades of ophthalmic and surgical sales management experience. Prior to OptiMedica, he served as vice president of U.S. sales for IntraLase, a leading U.S. manufacturer of femtosecond laser technology acquired by AMO in 2007. While at IntraLase, Anderson managed and directed growth and infrastructure, maximizing sales efforts and market share penetration. Anderson served previously as vice president of sales and marketing at WaveLight Technologies AG, a German manufacturer of ophthalmic excimer lasers. In this position, he managed the successful U.S. launch of the company’s refractive laser platform, the Allegretto. WaveLight was acquired in 2007 by Alcon. He also worked for 16 years at Coherent Medical Group, which later merged with Lumenis. While serving as director of North American sales, he was responsible for developing the company’s refractive business unit in the United States. Early in his career, he held a variety of medical and surgical sales positions at companies such as American V. Mueller and Baxter Travenol. Anderson received a BS in marketing from the University of Maryland.
