Gérald St-Aubin

Gérald St-Aubin, Vice-President, Investment Fund and Strategic Support at Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif, joined Desjardins Venture Capital in 2000. He has been working in business financing for 20 years and has held several development capital positions at Desjardins Group, including Investment Advisor and Greater Montreal Regional Manager for Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif. As Vice-President, Investment Fund and Strategic Support, his primary responsibilities include government relations with regard to the strategic development of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins. He oversees Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif’s market positioning and the promotion of the worker-shareholder cooperative industry. Mr. St-Aubin was also involved in creating investment funds such as Capital croissance PME and Fonds d'investissement pour la relève agricole (FIRA). Mr. St-Aubin holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Université du Québec à Montréal and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke. He sits on several company boards, including FIRA’s, and is also a member of the Développement international Desjardins (DID) Investment Committee.
