Gianluigi Gabetti

Mr. Gabetti is Honorary Chairman of EXOR. He graduated magna cum laude in law at Turin University. He starts his business career in 1946 with Banca Commerciale Italiana - Turin headquarters, and in 1955 is appointed Deputy Director. Mr. Gabetti joins the Olivetti Group in 1959 and becomes President of the Olivetti Corporation of America in 1965. In 1971 Mr. Gabetti is appointed Chief Operating Officer of IFI - Istituto Finanziario Industriale (holding company of the Agnelli Family), and the following year becomes Chief Executive Officer. In 1993, he resigns from that position to become Vice Chairman of FIAT and becomes CEO of Exor Group – Luxembourg. In 2004 he is elected Chairman of IFI and IFIL, later merged into EXOR S.p.A. At present, Mr. Gabetti is member of Giovanni Agnelli e C. S.a.p.az. and Honorary Chairman of EXOR. He is member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Agnelli and Banca del Piemonte. He is Cavaliere del Lavoro, President of Lingotto Musica, Member of the Executive Committee of The Council for the United States and Italy, Life Trustee of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
