George Middlemas

George Middlemas is a Managing General Partner who joined Apex in 1991 and has been involved in the venture capital industry since 1979. Prior to joining Apex, he was a senior vice president and principal with Inco Venture Capital Management and a vice president and member of the investment committee with Citicorp Venture Capital. He was instrumental in the founding of America Online and Security Dynamics Technologies, Inc. (RSA Security). George received an MBA from Harvard University, an MA from the University of Pittsburgh, and BA degrees from the Pennsylvania State University. He also serves on the Library Development Board of the Pennsylvania State University.
