Erwin is an entrepreneur and advisor based in Myanmar. He is the founder & CEO of Impact Terra, a tech venture that uses (mobile) technologies for agriculture. As a mentor and consultant he supports startups, social enterprises, VCs and development donors across SEA. During his time at Rocket Internet he founded 4 ventures and setup teams and operations in more than 10 countries across Asia, Middle East and Africa. As the CEO of Carmudi.com he led the company through several investment rounds. Before moving to Asia, Erwin was a strategic advisor with McKinsey & Company serving organizations across the U.S., Russia, China, Middle East and Europe. Previously, he was responsible for sales & marketing for Heineken in Sierra Leone and supported Kempen Capital Management on currency hedging. Erwin was born in the Netherlands and holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Mathematical Finance and Econometrics.
