Michael Phelps
Ernest is an Associate at Boldstart Ventures and joined the team in 2021. He was drawn to Ed and Eliot’s charismatic personalities, dedication to founders at Seed and bold growth goals for the future.
Prior to Boldstart, Ernest worked as a late-stage investor at Audax Group focused primarily on Healthcare, Business Services, Consumer, Industrial Technology and Software investments.
He began his career in the Global Industrials Investment Banking group at Bank of America, where he worked with Industrial companies on a variety of M&A, leveraged buyout, debt financing, and public equity transactions.
Ernest graduated from The University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. in Commerce, and a track in Entrepreneurship. He grew up in Washington, D.C. and currently resides in New York City.
