Eric Schaefer is Managing Director of Eurazeo Capital, based in New York. He is responsible for sourcing and executing investments and overseeing the performance of Eurazeo’s portfolio companies. Since joining the firm in 2004,Schaefer has specialized in the consumer goods and business services sectors and participated in the structuring or development of Eutelsat, B&B Hotels, Europcar, Elis, Asmodee, CPK and Trader Interactive. He currently serves on the boards of Europcar Groupe SA, Asmodee Group, CPK and Trader Interactive.
Schaefer was named a Dow Jones’ Private Equity News 40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Private Equity in 2015 and a French American Foundation Young Leader in 2016.
