Dina Powell

Dina Powell McCormick has been with Goldman Sachs since 2007.

McCormick led the Impact Investing Business and the Environmental Markets Group—teams that released over five billion dollars in market-based loans and equity to advance economically sustainable growth and reviving disadvantaged populations. Between 2017-2018, Powell McCormick served as the US Deputy National Security Advisor; she came back to Goldman Sachs in 2018 as a Partner in the Investment Banking Division. She is also on the Goldman Sachs Management Committee, maintaining and building the company’s relationships with sovereign international clients.

During her initial time at Goldman Sachs, Dina Powell McCormick was also the president of The Goldman Sachs Foundation, where she led 10,000 Women and 10,000 Small Businesses, two significant initiatives to spur economic growth and chance and giving business skills and education, and financial capital, to women and small businesses.

Among her first positions, Dina Powell McCormick held key roles in American government. She was Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs and Deputy Undersecretary of Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy, and senior White House advisor as Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel.

She is a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Future of Diplomacy Project at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School
