Debra Bass is responsible for revitalizing the global Johnson’s Baby brand and core business, building J&J’s presence in the premium segment, and leading the long-term strategy and innovation pipeline for the Americas. Previously, Debra was VP of Global Marketing for the DePuySynthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson. She built the DePuy Synthes masterbrand and created a new Marketing Center of Excellence with a focus on brand strategy, integrated marketing communications, and digital marketing. The integrated effort of the DePuy Masterbrand was awarded with a 2011 James E. Burke Award for best New Business Model. Debra has a broad base of marketing experience gained through diverse industry, company, and brand experiences. In addition, Debra is an active enterprise leader. For the past four years, she has been a key leader on the Global WLI Steering Committee leading enterprise programming and chapter engagement initiatives. She also represents J&J on the HBA Metro-Chapter Advisory Board. Debra holds her B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and M.B.A. in General Management/Marketing from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
