Dean B Nelson

Dean B Nelson is the Founder and Head of KKR Capstone. KKR Capstone has a team of executives that work with their portfolio companies to help drive operational improvements. Dean B Nelson currently serves on the boards of directors of Del Monte and Sealy. Prior to working at KKR, Dean B Nelson was a senior partner with the Boston Consulting Group, ran the firm’s Chicago office and served on the management committee. Dean B Nelson previously worked at Shell Oil Company. He holds a B.S., summa cum laude, from Purdue University and an M.B.A. with high honors from the University of Chicago.
