David R. Savello

Dave has had an extensive career, holding senior level positions at companies such as Glaxo Inc., Glaxo Wellcome Inc., Warner Lambert Corporation and Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. Dave is currently Senior Vice President of Development Operations at Xenoport, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on therapeutics for central nervous systems disorders. Previously, he served as CEO of NDA Partners, LLC, a drug development consulting company. Prior to NDA Partners, he was Chief Scientific Officer for Cardinal Health, Inc., and before that Senior Vice President for Drug Development at Guilford Pharmaceuticals Inc. He has also held senior level positions in drug development and regulatory affairs with Glaxo Inc. and Glaxo Wellcome Inc., including Vice President for North American Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Glaxo, Dave held positions with Warner Lambert Corporation, Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. and Riker Laboratories. Dave served on the North Carolina State University School of Physical and Mathematical Science Foundation Board and the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Advisory Committee. He is a director of Lumena Pharmaceuticals, a company founded by Pappas Ventures, and he previously served as a director for Panacos Pharmaceuticals, another Pappas Ventures portfolio company.
