David Pérez-Hernández

David serves as Principal at Roble Ventures, where he is responsible for sourcing, diligencing, and leading pre-seed investments. He has over six years of experience working with founders and C-level teams at venture-backed startups in Silicon Valley and Latin America on go-to-market (GTM) strategy, business development, product roadmaps, hiring, and raising venture capital.

David served as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Mexico’s Business Binational program, where he worked with leading global accelerator Endeavor, helped early-stage startup companies scale through a mentorship-based approach, and served as an associate at a seed-stage fund based in Mexico City, Mexico. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he served as a Zuckerman and George Fellow at Harvard's Center for Public Leadership. He earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with high honors and was elected to the homecoming court (Go Illini!).
