David Edwards

David Edwards is Intellectual Property Counsel for Hercules Incorporated in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Edwards' practice encompasses all phases of domestic and foreign patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and related intellectual property matters. He maintains substantial experience in the chemical arts, particularly the pharmaceutical, polymer, specialty products and food additive areas. As lead attorney, his experience includes agreement work and business-related issues. Prior to joining Hercules in 1987, Mr. Edwards worked for the Pennwalt Corporation for 13 years and the U.S. Patent and Trademark office from 1966-1974. Mr. Edwards was raised in Detroit and received his B.S. from Wayne State University in Chemistry/Math (strong minor physics), his MBA from American University, and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore.
