David Durant

David Durant is the General Counsel and Secretary at Earnin. He previously worked at Yapstone as an Executive Vice President, Secretary, General Counsel, and Chief Administrative Officer. In his tenure, David also led Blackhawk’s legal efforts through an IPO and spin-off as the Company expanded to over 20 countries, 1,800 employees and $1.4 billion in revenue. Prior to Blackhawk, he was Senior Corporate Counsel at Safeway, Inc., one of the largest food and drug retailers in North America. David received his J.D. from University of Chicago Law School.
