Daniel Buchmueller

Daniel Buchmueller serves as the CTO at Volansi. In the past, he was Vice President and Head of Drone Cargo at Airbus, led clinical trials engineering as Director of Engineering at Flatiron Health (acquired by Roche) and before that, was the co-founder of Amazon Prime Air, Prime Air UK Lead, and Manager of Flight Operations, Prime Air. Before that, Daniel joined Amazon Go as the first outside team member and team member #18 overall. He held software engineer positions at Microsoft in Redmond and Bellevue, Washington. Daniel was born and raised near Zurich, Switzerland where he also founded two start-ups.

He has more than 55 issued patents.
