Mr. Christian Groh is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at Privateer Holdings Inc. Mr. Groh serves as the Chief Operating Officer of WM Media. Mr. Groh has been the Head of Sales and Director of Sales at SVB Analytics. He specialized in early stage, venture-backed companies focused on hardware, software, life science and clean tech. He serves as an Advisor for AB 223 Compassionate Use Act of 1996 (Hon. Tom Ammiano). He has over 10 years of strategic sales, operations and management experience within the technology sector. He was pivotal in growing its client base from 200 to 2500. He specialized in early stage, venture backed companies focused on hardware, software, life science and clean technology. Mr. Groh has been a Principal at Walsh Carter and Associates. He has been Senior Client Partner of Global Financial Market and Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) of Korn/Ferry International since July 2008. Mr. Groh is a recognized Leader in the financial services sector's recruiting community, specializing in capital markets and investment banking both locally and pan-European. Most recently, Mr. Groh was a Partner of Edward W. Kelley & Partners (formerly, A.T. Kearney Executive Search). His major clients include first-tier U.S. investment banks and local German financial institutions covering various specialist practices such as capital markets, sales, trading and research, derivatives, corporate finance, M&A advisory and private equity. Before joining A.T. Kearney Executive Search in 2003, Mr. Groh held leadership positions with two other leading executive search firms. He is Director at Nextel Communications. Mr. Groh received an M.B.A. from the San Francisco State University and a B.S. degree from California Maritime Academy.
