Chris Caulkin

Chris Caulkin is a Managing Director and Head of Technology for EMEA. He also serves on the firm’s Portfolio Committee. Chris leads our global work on classifieds including investments in Property Finder, Adevinta, Hemnet, Swiss Marketplace Group and Funda. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2011, Chris worked at Warburg Pincus in London for four years where he concentrated on investments in the media, technology, and business services sectors. Chris serves on the boards of current portfolio companies Adevinta, Back Market, Doctolib, Kahoot!, ManoMano, and Property Finder. He is also a Board Observer for PayFit. Chris graduated with a Masters of Engineering in Information & Computer Engineering from The University of Cambridge. He also earned a Masters of Finance from Harvard Business School. Chris also serves on the board of Wembley High Technology College.
