Catherine joined in January 2012 as BGF’s Legal Counsel, responsible for BGF’s internal legal function. Catherine has over 20 years’ experience in growth capital/private equity. She began her career at 3i Group plc and rose to Senior Legal Counsel managing a team of lawyers and support staff in 3i’s Birmingham location. During her time at 3i, Catherine acted for 3i on a huge range of investments and worked closely with lawyers across the UK and Europe. In 2004, Catherine left 3i and joined Wragge & Co LLP in Birmingham where she continued her growth capital/private equity career, this time acting as an external lawyer for houses including 3i Group plc, LDC and Bridgepoint.
