Brenda Chia

Brenda Chia is the Chief of Capital Development at Paladin Capital Group, joining the firm in 2012. She serves on the Management Team and focuses on capitalizing on growth opportunities and developing multi-faceted investor and partner relationships for deal sourcing, co-investments and exits. Brenda led the raise of Paladin’s largest fund, the $372M Cyber Fund II, which closed in May 2022, while building strategic relationships with top-tier corporations and investors to diversify Paladin’s geographic opportunities. One of Brenda’s career highlights has been advocating for opportunities for women and minority investors. She has testified before Congress on improving participation of women and minority-owned funds in the investment industry. She is the current Board Co-Chair of The Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM), which convenes institutional capital and qualified Asian-American investors across asset classes to conduct business and build alliances. Since 2007, as the founding President, she has led AAAIM to national prominence as a DEI advocate by setting the pace, vision and fundraising for the next phase of growth, building on the network of 5,000 asset owners and managers.
