Mr. Benz is an Industry Advisor to TPG Growth. Brad Benz has been creating, operating, advising and investing in emerging companies for two decades. In 2008, Brad launched RedShift Group (RSG), an advisory and venture firm focused on helping education and digital media companies scale their businesses. Brad has advised over 17 companies to date, including Pandora Media, Rasmussen College, Sylvan and Answers.com. Prior to founding RSG, Brad was Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development for Aptimus (NASDAQ: APTM), a lead generation ad network that was acquired by Apollo Group (NASDAQ: APOL) in 2007. Previously Brad was CEO/founder of ZuluSports, a leading online sports publisher. He was also Robertson Stephens/Crosslink Capital's first Associate. At Crosslink, Brad focused on sourcing deals in both education and digital media. Three of his investments achieved successful IPOs, including Saba Software, Eloquent and OnDisplay. In 2012, Brad joined the Advisory Board of Texas Pacific Group. Brad earned his MBA from University of Michigan and an AB degree from Princeton University.
