Bill McBeath

Mr. McBeath is a Managing Director and Operating Partner of Z Capital. Mr. McBeath has a nearly 30 year track record of starting, building, growing and improving the profitability, performance and value of companies within the gaming & resort industry. Prior to joining Z Capital, Mr. McBeath was the President and Chief Operating Officer for CityCenter, which includes ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel & Spa, Crystals and Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas. In this role, Mr. McBeath’s responsibilities included providing strategic and operational, executive-level leadership for all areas of CityCenter. Mr. McBeath was a vital member of CityCenter’s original opening team, overseeing every aspect of the design and development of ARIA and Vdara. In addition, Mr. McBeath oversaw one of the country’s most exclusive golf courses, Shadow Creek, and MGM Resorts’ Race & Sports Book Operations. Mr. McBeath started his career with MGM Resorts in 1987 and has held a number of key management positions with three of Las Vegas’ most successful resorts – The Mirage, Treasure Island and Bellagio. McBeath served as President and COO of each of these properties. At each resort, he was integrally involved in extensive re-branding and development projects and led the respective teams to record-breaking results. Mr. McBeath is very active in the Las Vegas community. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Las Vegas Events. Mr. McBeath has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, as well as having served as Chairman of its Compensation Committee and a member of its Audit Committee. Mr. McBeath also has served as Board Chairman of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Fiscal Affairs Committee and is a member of the National Finals Rodeo Committee. Additionally, Mr. McBeath previously served as a member of the UNLV Hotel School National Advisory Board. Mr. McBeath received his BS in Hotel Administration from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and was recognized as “Alumni of the Year” by the University’s Hotel School in 2004.
