Beth George is the Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She was a former Of Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on the representation of companies in complex cybersecurity and data security matters, including advising on legal challenges faced by companies regarding data breaches. George currently is a Lecturer on surveillance law and technology at the UC Berkeley School of Law and is affiliated with Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation. Previously, George served as a Deputy General Counsel to the US Department of Defense, in the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, as an Associate Counsel in the White House, and as a Professional Staff Member and Counsel to the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
