Ben Gammell

Ben is the President and CFOof Brex, where he's been a key player since early 2018. Today, Ben not only leads the Finance team but also oversees the Legal, Business Development, Systems, and Data teams. An unconventional CFO, Ben's role goes far beyond traditional financial oversight. He has played a crucial part in shaping Brex's strategic direction, having served as Chief of Staff to the Co-CEOs and stepping in to lead the Marketing, Business Development, and People teams, giving him a deep understanding of the business. Before joining Brex, Ben worked at SoFi and began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and is an alumnus of University of Sydney, holding a double degree in commerce and engineering.
